Following the September release of his stirring debut album “NO SKIPS,” released via Provident Entertainment/Sony, rising alt-pop singer songwriter bodie — known for his genre-blurring sound and breakthrough run on The Voice Season 22 —  today releases the album’s deluxe version.

Featuring live and acoustic versions of his debut LP’s most vital songs, including a magnificent and highly emotional acoustic version of Heaven Knows I Tried,” the deluxe version of NO SKIPS marks the exclamation point on a momentous chapter for bodie.

Never one to rest on his laurels, bodie is also thrilled to announce the launch of his “Lovesick” Christian Alternative Music Festival, scheduled for Feb 13.

“I’ve been dreaming of having my own musical festival for over ten years now, and it’s finally happening,” bodie says. “If you love alt rock music and Jesus, I hope you’re wearing a diaper , because you’re probably gonna pee all over yourself after hearing this.”

Additionally, with his growing fanbase eager to continue hearing his new music performed onstage every night, not to mention a growing reputation as a must-see live performer, bodie is thrilled to announce he will be joining Colton Dixon this spring as part of the singer’s “the love I have for you” tour. The tour kicks off on March 19 in Ocean City, NJ.

bodie’s debut album release marked the culmination of a slew of new bodie music released last year, including the album’s feel-good title track, “GOOD OLD DAYS” and “SAY SO” in addition to its accompanying music video, inspired by MTV’s legendary Jackass-era antics. bodie’s radio single, whisper and the wind,” from the HAPPY TO BE HERE EP (Provident Entertainment/SONY) ascended to the Top 10 on both the Billboard Airplay and the Mediabase Audience charts and amassed over 38 million global streams to date.

bodie was also nominated for 2 Dove Awards including Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year, and Short Form Music Video of the Year (Concept) for “RIP.” Additionally, bodie was nominated at the Klove awards for his ‘breakout single’ for “whisper and the wind,” and also won the grand prize in the prestigious International Songwriting Competition (ISC) along with his songwriting team – Sajan Nauriyal, and Wes Strunk – for the co-written “whisper and the wind.” Judges included Paul Stanley (KISS), Joe Hahn (Linkin Park), Elle King, Tom Waits, Kristian Bush (Sugarland), Nancy Wilson (Heart), NEEDTOBREATHE, and more. The winning composition captivated ISC’s esteemed panel of judges with its compelling lyricism and emotional resonance – rising above the 14,000 submissions from 112 countries. The International Songwriting Competition (ISC) is widely recognized as the world’s most prestigious songwriting competition.
