Singer-songwriter, artiste, educator and newly nominated GMA’s Songwriter of the Year – Churemi announces the release of her new single titled “Far Away”. The track said to be released on the 31st of January 2025, is a soulful, story-based jazz and Afro-fusion track that reminds the heart to hope for that day where we will meet the Lord never to part again forever.

The track also features a soothing and warm rap from Artiste/Rapper – Benjiszzy Zaakii (SOTL) who continues the story extensively reminding the listeners that that day will eventually come with strong reasons to keep hope in the hearts of many. ‘I poured my heart into writing this,’ Benjiszzy Zaakii wrote.

Coming at a time where Churemi grieves the passing of her dad, she says “It hits harder, we all have somewhere to return to and it’s wherever the Lord is.” She exposes a thought pattern believers possess – The Sojourner’s Mindset; “Once in a while, it dawns on us that we aren’t from here, and that a day is coming when we’ll finally return home, to Zion, forever to reign with our Lord.
