Newsboys brought their Let The Music Speak tour to Roberts Wesleyan University in Rochester, NY on March 17, 2023 and Revive Wesleyan church in Hamburg, NY on March 19, 2023. I was blessed to have the opportunity to attend both concerts and it was awesome to hear their music and the message shared from the stages each night!

American Idol and The Voice alum Jeremy Rosado opened with a set of new original music as well as sharing the inspiration behind his songs and a bit of his story.
Jeremy Rosado
Jeremy connected with the audience through his smooth vocals & heart for declaring the life-changing power of God with songs such as his current single “Believe You Will”, “It Doesn’t End Here” and “When I Meet Jesus”.

Having followed Jeremy’s career since American Idol, it was great getting to see him and a pleasure to meet him as well! Visit Jeremy’s website here.
Newsboys took the stage with an energy and hit-packed set that included “Magnetic”, “That’s How You Change The World”, “Miracles”, “I Still Believe You’re Good”, “Something Beautiful”, “Restart”, “Born Again”, “Your Love Never Fails”, “I Speak Jesus”, “God’s Not Dead”, “We Believe” and many more!
Michael Tait
Duncan Phillips
Newsboys version of dc Talk’s “Jesus Freak” is always a highlight and on this tour, a member of the audience was chosen at each show to come on stage to perform the rap section of the first verse with the guys. It was clearly fun for both the fan and the band at these shows! Duncan Phillips’ spinning drum kit is another moment during that song everyone looks forward to!

Michael Tait, Jeff Frankenstein
A special portion of the night was an acoustic set with stripped down versions of some of the band’s favorites from over the years featuring “Shine”, “The Breakfast Song”, “It Is You”, “Entertaining Angels” & dc Talk’s “What If I Stumble”. It was so cool getting to hear these songs in this setting.
The talent of Michael Tait, Duncan Phillips, Jody Davis, Jeff Frankenstein and the band’s newest member Adam Agee combined with their genuine faith and kindness brings together people of all ages as they reflect the light & love of Jesus. The guys sounded fantastic with Michael and Adam sharing lead vocals throughout the night.
