WORSHIP LEADER AND SONGWRITER TIFFANY HUDSON RELEASES NEW SONG “THE WONDERFUL BLOOD”

NASHVILLE, TENN / CHARLOTTE, NC. (OCTOBER 11, 2024) Elevation Worship’s Tiffany Hudson delivers a beautiful new song, “The Wonderful Blood,” co-written by Hudson, Josh Holiday and UPPERROOM’s Abbie Gamboa. Combining the classic hymn “Nothing But the Blood of Jesus” into the bridge of the new song, Hudson recorded it in one take during a low-key night of worship at Elevation Church. Listen to the celebratory declaration now.

“I feel like many songs about the blood and the cross carry a somber, reflective tone, which is needed and beautiful. But this song carries a very triumphant feeling. I just think we’ll never outgrow singing about the blood of Jesus and the sacrifice He paid for us,” Tiffany Hudson shares.

This song follows Hudson’s 2023 debut solo release, Hidden Here, an intimate, eight-track studio collection birthed from her own devotional time. The album started in a secret place, in the hidden moments with God. Hudson has never toured in support of Hidden Here and has only ever performed the project’s original selections live one time, insisting these particular songs are meant for private worship versus public displays of praise.

About Tiffany Hudson: Tiffany Hudson, a member of the award-winning collective Elevation Worship, studied ministry at Southeastern University, where she began to hone her craft in songwriting after years of leading worship at her parents’ church. At the time, she couldn’t envision her future as a worship leader and professional songwriter; but she was certain she wanted to follow in her family’s footsteps. Known for helming songs like “More Than Able,” “Sure Been Good” and “New Thing Coming,” among many others, Hudson has quickly become one of Elevation Worship’s most recognizable voices. As a member of the multi-Platinum-certified group, Hudson has garnered a GRAMMY® Award, two Billboard Music Awards, eight GMA Dove Awards, and a K-LOVE Fan Award. With numerous songs consistently remaining in the CCLI Top 100, the acclaimed collective has also earned five No. 1 Christian radio hits, including “Graves Into Gardens,” “RATTLE!,” “Same God,” “Trust In God” and multi-week chart-topper “Praise,” their most explosive single to date. Yet, for Hudson, who became a first-time mom in 2024, the stats and shiny accolades are secondary to her life’s mission of making sure the Bride of Christ — the Church — “shines so beautifully, the way we’re meant to.” She’s simply grateful for the small part she gets to play in a much larger story.
