Brandon Lake – King of Hearts Tour

Kia Center, Orlando, FL – October 3, 2025

A night of worship, revival, and unforgettable moments of faith

Living in Tampa, I don’t always look forward to driving out to Orlando—especially when traffic turns what should be a short trip into a long one. But when Brandon Lake announced his King of Hearts Tour was coming to the Kia Center, there was no question I was going. Orlando has always felt like a second home, and this show promised to be something special.

The Orlando stop marked just the second night of the tour—and it had been sold out for weeks. Thanks to our friends at TPR., we were blessed with access to this incredible evening, joining 14,000 others who packed into the home of the Orlando Magic to lift up the name of Jesus. Though heavy traffic caused us to miss most of Franni Cash’s opening set (which I was really looking forward to), we arrived just as Brandon’s set began—and what a show it was.

From the very first note, the atmosphere was electric—literally. Every attendee was given a light-up wristband that synced with the music, filling the arena with waves of color that pulsed in rhythm throughout the night. It was the perfect visual pairing to the powerful worship that followed.

Brandon’s set stretched to nearly two and a half hours, packed with heartfelt moments and passionate praise. He opened with “King of Hearts,” leading into fan favorites like “Count ‘Em,” “Hard Fought Hallelujah,” “Gratitude,” “Praise,” and “Trust In God.” It felt like every song people came to hear made it into the night.

What truly stood out, though, was Brandon’s deep connection with the audience. Whether it was grabbing fans’ cameras to take selfies, interacting with kids and families in the crowd, or sharing stories between songs, he brought an arena-sized worship night down to a personal, Spirit-filled experience.

Towards the end of the evening, Brandon sat down with worship leader Pat Barrett for a special acoustic set on a circular stage in the center of the arena—a space he used throughout the night to draw everyone in closer. Together, the two performed “Same God,” the Elevation Worship song they helped co-write, offering a stripped-down version that carried raw sincerity and reverence. The duo also treated fans to an acoustic rendition of “God Did,” from their collaborative side project Sons of Sunday. The collective—made up of several well-known worship leaders including Brandon Lake, Pat Barrett, Chandler Moore, Chris Brown, Leeland Mooring, and Steven Furtick—has become a unique creative outlet celebrating unity among worship voices.

A standout moment came later in the night when Brandon invited a young girl named Ava onto the stage. Earlier in the show, the full band had already performed “That’s Who I Praise,” but this time Brandon turned it into a tender acoustic moment, giving Ava the chance to sing along before thousands of cheering fans. It was a beautiful display of worship across generations—and as a dad there with my wife and daughter, it was one of those memories I’ll never forget.

Throughout the evening, Brandon spoke passionately about revival, emphasizing the importance of families and fathers in shaping this next move of God. His message was clear: the Spirit of revival is not something distant—it’s happening right now.

Franni Cash also returned to the stage a few times during Brandon’s set, joining in on harmonies that added another layer of beauty to the night. And though I missed her solo performance, seeing her collaborate throughout the show was a wonderful bonus.

Before the evening came to a close, Brandon led a heartfelt invitation to receive Christ, giving space for lives to be changed right there in the arena. As the night seemed to end with “Praise,” the lights dimmed and the crowd began to count up from one to seven—ushering in one final encore: “Sevens.” The powerful new song, with its bold anticipation of Christ’s return, left the audience in awe as voices and lights filled the air in unified worship.

For me personally, this show carried special significance. The last time I saw Brandon Lake was earlier this year at Rock the Universe—before a major turning point in my own spiritual journey. Experiencing this concert after that transformation made the night deeply personal and spiritually moving.

If you ever get the chance to experience Brandon Lake’s King of Hearts Tour, don’t hesitate. This isn’t just a concert—it’s an encounter. With passionate worship, heartfelt ministry, and a genuine love for Jesus at the center, it’s an evening that will leave you encouraged, inspired, and reminded that revival is here.
