From Worship to Friendship – A Night with Kate Stanford & Seph Schlueter

Crossroads International Church, Attleboro, MA – June 11, 2025

Sorry this review is so late. I had to finish school and then I got a really bad ear infection, and then it turned into more. But anyways…….

I was so excited to finally see Kate Stanford in person and get to meet her. Kate is amazing, awesome, cool, and really pretty too. She wears really nice dresses. And she loves animals and has a really pretty voice. She writes really nice songs about important things. I listen to her music and now her new song is out called “Inside Out,” and it’s a bop. When we got to the church, we saw her right away and said hello. The concert we went to was in Attleboro, Massachusetts, at Crossroads International Church. We had been there once before for a concert. But we didn’t have a lot of time, and we were meeting up with the lady we gave my brother’s ticket to because he really would have a hard time sitting still there (church “QUIET” venue and all). We like to have Jacob come, but it’s also nice to have a girls’ night sometimes.

I was super excited Arletta was going to come. She is really cool. We met her at the Katy Nichole concert and she was worshipping like crazy there, and we started calling her the “cool worshipping Grandma.” Then we met her at the intermission and took pictures and had pizza together. We gave her a cross and bracelet and have been Instagram friends ever since. And when Katy called me up to sing on stage that night and it was really scary, Arletta was cheering me on. We are really blessed that we got to meet her and all the people we get to meet. God makes good things happen from bad things all the time. So, we ended up posting our ticket to give it away, and at the very last minute (2 hours before), Arletta wrote to Mom on Instagram and came to see Seph and Kate with us and it was so fun. It was no surprise that Arletta was the first in the church who was up clapping for Kate and on her feet. She is a very new Gen Gramma.

Right now, she is in Kenya on a mission trip to meet two of her four sponsor kids, and guess what—she just wrote us that she gave them bracelets and crosses we made. How cool is that? I only wish we gave her more to bring. When we were at the concert, she sent one of them a birthday cake from her app. This proves that some people who are total strangers can be your friends because God puts them in your lives.

Crossroads International Church, Café of Hope, and Fuse Ministries hosted and opened the event, and it’s always nice to see Victoria from Café of Hope, who is the host and is always working so hard. We were part of the VIP meet and greet, and Seph and Kate came out, and we were allowed to ask questions and they even did a prayer for someone’s child who was dealing with addictions. What I learned is next time I go to a Q&A, I should record it so I remember the questions and answers so I can write about them. Live and learn, I guess. It was fun, and lots of people asked questions, and it was a nice prayer.

Then it was time for Kate to sing. Yay! She was dressed in a cute outfit and opened with her song “Change.” You should listen to it. Everybody was clapping for Kate. Then she sang “The Goodness of God,” which is a song almost everybody knows, so we all sang along. When the time finally came for her to sing her new song “Inside Out,” we were the FIRST people to ever hear it live. It wasn’t even released yet. People were on their feet (that means everybody was standing up). It was so good, and now it is playing on all platforms. Kate is not a Billboard artist YET, but she will be. Just trust! You should give her a follow @katestanfordmusic. She’s a dog person too!!

Seph came out and opened with “Running Back to You,” which my mom calls the “Running Song.” It is her favorite Seph song. It was the best opener. Seph then sang “Reckless Love.”

Seph Schlueter reminds me of Cory (Asbury) with long hair. It was really cool he sang “Reckless Love.” You all know how I feel about Cory and his songs, so to hear Seph sing one of them was pretty special. I had to take a bathroom break and I ran into Kate and we got to talk for a while, and it was so special, and she is really inspiring—but I missed a few Seph songs. It was worth it though, because Kate said I was inspiring and she even signed a poster for me and we had a really nice talk. She is just really amazing and I love her so much! She always writes back to us or gives us a heart and I hope I get to talk to her again soon. But we got to go back to the concert and hear more great music, and then Seph stopped to introduce Compassion and asked people to sponsor a child.

A lot of people did, and we had met this really cool guy named Alex who was sitting in front of us, and he is kind of a young guy and was really cool. He sponsored 2 kids, and I thought that was really amazing and special. We have an extra ticket for Jon Reddick this week, and guess what?—he is going to be able to go with us. We meet the best people. Seph sang a new unreleased song called “This Side of Heaven,” and his new album is going to be coming out on July 11th. My mom and I predict that this new song is going to be a BIG hit. The song was called This Side of Heaven. Some people even started crying. He also sang some other songs like Stay and Words We’ll Sing Forever and of course Counting My Blessings. It would have been really cool if Kate and Seph did a song together. Maybe they will do a collaboration in the future.

Let’s just talk about merch for a second. Next time I will take a picture of the merch table because they had some pretty cool stuff. I bought a Seph bag, a Kate shirt, a poster, a CD, and a bracelet. Kate also was giving out FREE pictures. Everything was a little underpriced as compared to most merch we usually see, and we always like to buy things to support the artists—and also we like to wear their stuff.

If you get an opportunity to go see them, you definitely should.

Next up for us is Jon Reddick……
