Nashville, TN (February 14, 2019) – As one of the most successful and influential Christian artists today, Chris Tomlin is set to kick off one of the biggest years of his career which will include the release of a LIVE album, HOLY ROAR: LIVE FROM CHURCH, on March 15, and a remarkable year of touring that will include many firsts, including destination concerts in Israel. The album was recorded last fall at a church in Nashville in front of 200 worship leaders.

“I have always tried to write and record songs that give people a voice to worship God,” shared Chris. “It is incredible to see what happens when the people of God sing praises to God together in unity. For the recording, we came together in a beautiful small church in Nashville to worship, and these songs came alive. I am so excited to release them and to worship with so many people this spring on tour.”

Chris’ touring year will begin on March 7 the “Holy Roar Tour” playing nearly 30 shows in six weeks. In additional, he will headline his first concert at the iconic Hollywood Bowl on his birthday May 4. A highlight of the year will include Chris’ first-ever concerts in Israel, Chris Tomlin Worship Nights in Israel- A Journey Through the Holy Land, a 7-day destination/ concert event June 20-27 that will tour Galilee, the Dead Sea, Nazareth, Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, the Garden Tomb, and more. Later this summer Chris will return for two shows to Red Rocks Amphitheatre, where in 2017 he became the first Christian artist to play sold-out back-to-back concerts at the historic venue. Chris will end this year with fall and Christmas tours.

HOLY ROAR: LIVE FROM CHURCH, available everywhere March 15, contains seven songs from Chris’ Holy Roar album released last fall, including the rising worship song “Is He Worthy?” and a song by Pat Barrett, who is signed to Chris’ imprint label Bowyer & Bow and will tour with him in 2019. Live performance videos will also be available on each of the eight tracks.
