There’s no doubt that 2020 and the months & years since have been life changing and challenging. For many, it brought about a desire to seek out peace and hope. For legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli, this desire drew him to explore parts of the Via Francigena – an ancient road that stretches from Canterbury, England to Rome, Italy.
The Journey musical documentary follows Andrea as he and his wife along with a few friends embark on a 200-mile pilgrimage on horseback through the Italian countryside. Along the way, Andrea is joined by fellow artists Tori Kelly, Tauren Wells, Michael W. Smith, Katherine Jenkins, 2CELLOS and more for unforgettable musical performances!
Throughout the documentary, viewers are blessed by the beautiful scenery as well as conversations about life, faith, music, God’s provision & timing and the source of true hope that encourage us to embrace the story God has for our lives and give Him thanks for the gifts He has so graciously given.
The Journey is an inspiring film that will bring joy as you’re along for the ride. Andrea Bocelli and his family & friends not only offer food for thought through the conversations, but also moments of reflection and a focus on God’s presence in our lives.
The Journey will be in theater April 2nd – 9th. Visit https://thejourney.movie/ for more information and to see where the film will be playing in your area!
