Sherry Anne Will Debut “Hymns” CD at Concert with Booth Brothers

Rome, New York. Recording artist Sherry Anne has announced that her first CD of hymns. The collection titled “Hymns” is Sherry Anne’s ninth studio project and includes such favorites as “His Eye is on the Sparrow,” “Power in the Blood,” “In the Garden,” and medleys of treasured hymns. The “Hymns” CD will be officially released and available at The Booth Brothers and Sherry Anne concert at Mohawk Valley Church, 9427 Maynard Drive, in Marcy, New York, on October 29, 2023.

“It has been a joy and musical delight to pay tribute to these classic songs, and to present them in a new, yet authentic, way that respects the songwriters who wrote them,” Sherry Anne said.

Sherry Anne inspires audiences with her music and her journey from being labeled a problem child rather than a child with a bilateral hearing problem to now a nationally-touring singer and speaker. Sherry Anne sings with an elegant voice and has made multiple Gaither event appearances and sung at The Ark Encounter, National Quartet Convention, Thomas Road Chapel, and churches, festivals, and conferences nationwide. She has appeared in concert with Triumphant Quartet, the Collingsworth Family, The Blackwood Brothers, The Sound, and The Hoppers.

Award-winning singer, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer Chris Golden produced Sherry Anne’s “Hymns” CD. Golden sang backup vocals and played acoustic guitar and keys on the project that was spurred on by the two singers appearing at the 2023 Milk River Gospel Jamboree in Malta, Montana.

“It was a blessing to work with Chris again and to catch up on our musical endeavors. We had a good conversation at the three-day event in Montana and this project is the result. A hymns project is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I am grateful now to share this project with the very audiences who have been requesting it,” Sherry Anne commented.

Sherry Anne’s “Hymns” CD also features Nashville musicians Larry Mars on bass, Eugene Moles on guitar, and Jonathan Brown with a piano solo on “His Eye is on the Sparrow” that is sure to thrill listeners.
