About The Brilliance
New York-based liturgical band The Brilliance believes that art — in any form — is meant to be savored, experienced and relished. Composed of David Gungor and John Arndt, The Brilliance craft music with this belief in mind, giving listeners time and space to fully soak in the beauty that lies in every lyric and sonic nuance. The duo goes way back, having known each other since childhood and having played together in a variety of bands. Their critically-acclaimed Integrity Music debut, Brother, was a peacemaking opus that introduced the duo’s eloquent use of minimalism in the vein of Sufjan Stevens and Philip Glass to an audience beyond their faithful legion of fans who followed them during their years as an independent band. Worship Leader Magazine named the band’s label debut their No. 1 album pick in 2015. Their second label release All Is Not Lost is available now.
