BIG DADDY WEAVE LAUNCHES FOURTH “BEAUTIFUL OFFERINGS TOUR” AUGUST 18
NASHVILLE, TENN. (25 July 2016) – One of Christian music’s most loved artists, Big Daddy Weave is bringing the 4th edition of their popular concept event, the Beautiful Offerings Tour, to concert venues across the country. Set to kick off August 18 in Watertown, SD, the 50-city tour will feature fan favorite Plumb and breakout artist We Are Messengers. The tour, sponsored by World Vision, will conclude November 20 in Charlotte, NC.
The Beautiful Offerings Tour celebrates having been redeemed and made beautiful by grace, our lives and worship are offerings to God. Each tour date will see Big Daddy Weave on stage for the entire evening performing with all of the artists on the tour. The first part of the show will feature performances of the artists’ radio favorites, followed by everyone leading worship together during the second half.
“I am looking forward to this tour in so many ways,” shares Big Daddy Weave’s lead vocalist Mike Weaver. “One of the coolest things about the Beautiful Offerings Tour is how God brings something so unique and different each night. That’s one of the ways that we know it’s Him. It’s distinctly something fresh in every new place. In that, it’s fantastic having Plumb on the fall tour and everything she brings to the night and Darren Mulligan of We Are Messengers and his heart for ministry. We can’t wait to see how God uses this.”
It was last month that Big Daddy Weave’s bass player, Jason (Jay) Weaver, had both feet amputated as part of ongoing efforts to fight a deep infection in his body. “In this season of difficulty and battle, we have been blown away by the support and prayers of so many,” shares Weaver. “Please continue to pray for Jay, his family and all treating him. We’re trusting God that you will see him at a Big Daddy Weave show very soon.” In addition to continued prayers for Jay and his family, you can keep up with his progress at Pray for Jay on Facebook fans can contribute toward Jason’s medical expenses at YouCaring Pray for Jay.
