Anne Wilson’s newest album, Stars, releases October 17, 2025. If you are into boot-tapping country music where poetry, faith, and storytelling meet, then this album is one you are not going to want to miss out on.

With themes of redemption, healing, surrender, forgiveness, growing up, facing challenges, and so much more, each song testifies of God’s Presence, goodness and faithfulness.

Here are a few of the songs that stood out to me, personally.

GOD STORY is all about how God is woven into our lives. I particularly like the lyric that states, “I’m proof that we’re all only one prayer away from a testimony…”. To God be the glory!

TILL THE ROAD RUNS OUT prompts us to make moments count and to make the most out of this one life we each have to live. “Gonna make it matter. Gonna make it count. Gonna run this road till the road runs out.”

DEVIL IS TOO is an advice song from an older family member to a younger family member. The message is one I know that I have had to learn the hard way. I really think it is one we all need to absorb and learn from. “Keep your eyes wide open. Guard that heart cause he’s lookin for a way to break through… I’ve lived enough to know it’s true. God is real, but the devil is, too.”
