Seasoned contemporary music artist, Blanca, originally from Group 1 Crew, is releasing the album, Full Bloom, on October 17, 2025. The album provides a multicultural richness with its different musical styles and genres, Spanish and English lyrics in certain songs, and praise and worship.
Featured artists are Musika, Ryan Ellis, Called Out Music, and Yandel. Each adds a really lovely blend of harmony and very unique tones that blend well with Blanca’s voice. I really enjoyed the projects done with these other artists. The album is soul-full and has gentler “Afro beat” sounds that make the praise and worship flow out smoothly and make it hard to just sit still and listen. You have to move with the beat.
WORTHY (track 3) and WORTHY (Bonus track featuring Yandel) are the same song presented in different ways, and they both made my heart very happy. The bonus track version has some of the lyrics in Spanish, and Yandel sings part of it. Both are about how God is worthy of all praise!!!
WEATHERPROOF’s title was the first thing that caught my attention. It is thought-provoking and catchy. It is all about how we need to focus on God and find our reassurance, our security and our help in God’s care and in His Presence. It’s a reminder that with Him, “Every trial is a lesson.”
RIGHT ON TIME (track 11, featuring Musiko) is partially in Spanish and is a declaration of sorts. We need to be encouraged to trust in God’s timing and His way, to not worry, to remember that He has us in all circumstances we may face. After all, “He’s always right on time.”
PRAISE MY WAY (Deluxe track) is an “encourage myself daily” kind of song. We are reminded of how God has always been present, that we are not forgotten or abandoned, and that in all the things we face, we can “Praise our way through…” This was a special reminder to me.
Some of the songs that stood out to me had less repetition in some of the lyrics and were clear in the statement of faith and in God’s faithfulness and goodness.
If you like hip-hop, Afro beats, praise and worship, I think you might find Full Bloom an interesting one to listen to. It is unique, and that can be such a refreshing change.
