Canton Junction ‘Every Hallelujah’

Southern Gospel quartet, Canton Junction, have released their new album Every Hallelujah. This is the first project that founding members Matthew Hagee and Tim Duncan have completed with new additions Casey Rivers and Ryan Seaton. Together, these men bring the classic quartet sound while sharing lead vocal performances on this collection of positive, uplifting tracks. “God’s Got A Better Plan” opens the album reminding us that when things don’t go the way we want or had hoped they would, God has something better coming our way. We may not see it at the time or realize this truth until years later, but somewhere down the line we will be able to look back knowing everything that happened was part of God’s story for our life. We can have confidence in giving our plans & dreams over to Him because He will use them to accomplish something more than we originally thought possible.

The title track, “Every Hallelujah”, is a powerful praise ballad declaring the glory of God. It encourages you to join in the fellowship of worshipping our Heavenly Father, for He is worthy to be praised. “A Place Called Grace” is a prayer of thanksgiving, realizing that sometimes it is easy to forget to acknowledge God when things are going well and times are good, but when the tide turns, we run to Him only to find that He is there through it all. It is His enduring grace that welcomes us with open arms and reminds us that He never leaves our side. On “For Moments Like These”, we are reminded to keep holding on to our faith in God’s promises when we face the trials and hardships of life. One lyric in particular stands out: “What if the thorns aren’t part of His will? What if His mercy is deeper still?” This brings to mind the particular promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13 “And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted, beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

“Weep No More” tells of the day Jesus will return and dry every tear of the hurting & broken, celebrating what that moment will bring to all who believe. Throughout Every Hallelujah, you can hear the joy in each of the men’s voices as they share the Good News of Jesus with every song. The evidence of their faith in God shines bright and inspires listeners to place their hope and trust in Him with every aspect of our lives.
