New Album Halfway Home Out Sept. 25, 2026

Plots Fall Headlining “Halfway Home Tour” With Support From Andrew Ripp and Allison Eide

Nashville, Tenn. (June 5, 2026) — Curb Records Irish-led collective We Are Messengers finds solace in letting go on bonafide rock offering “Lay It All On You,” dropping today (6/5) — listen HERE. An official music video for the song also premieres today — watch HERE.

“Lay It All On You” was written by We Are Messengers frontman Darren Mulligan and Kyle Williams, who also produced the incendiary track. Plucky, expectant guitars quickly give way to stacked electric energy and heart-pounding drums as Mulligan surrenders his fears, his insecurities and his illusion of control to a God who can hold the tension of the unknown. “Lay It All On You” is one of 13 new selections slated for the band’s upcoming studio album, Halfway Home, arriving Sept. 25, 2026. Fans can pre-save, pre-add and pre-order the project HERE.

Expansive arena rock abounds on Halfway Home. Across the record’s 13 tracks — all co-written by Mulligan — We Are Messengers explores the tension between the now and the not yet. A study in contrast, the set grapples with life’s contradictions in light of our humanity. Bridging the gap between heaven and earth, the experimental, atmospheric collection boasts perceptive lyrics, driving melodies and the biggest hooks of the band’s career, primed for enthusiastic crowds and We Are Messengers’ dynamic live show.

Previewing their fifth full-length effort, We Are Messengers has already released lead radio single “Faith Hope Love” and the standout title cut. Additionally, to honor the passing of well-known Irish musician Moya Brennan, the group recently unveiled a standalone cover of U2’s “Where The Streets Have No Name,” which they recorded with Brennan prior to her death.

Following a batch of international dates in Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as a concert in Belfast, Ireland, which marked their first Irish show in 12 years, the band will embark on a fall U.S. run headlining the “Halfway Home Tour” with support from chart-topping singer-songwriter Andrew Ripp and newcomer Allison Eide. The 20-show trek begins Sept. 24 in Nashville and concludes Nov. 8 in Pittsburgh.

About We Are Messengers:

Award-winning International band We Are Messengers — fronted by Darren Mulligan, a single-minded Irishman who writes rock ’n’ roll anthems and intimate earthly psalms for messy broken people — have the first radio single (We Three Kings”) to debut at #1 in two decades on the Billboard Christian Airplay Chart, and the first holiday single to ever debut at #1 on the same chart. This, in addition to over 900 million career global streams, 2 RIAA-Certified Gold Singles, nearly 4 billion airplay audience, a multi-week #1 Billboard radio song (Come What May”), and seven Top 5 and ten Top 10 Christian Airplay hits, including: A Thousand Times,” “God Be The Glory,” “Wholehearted,” and Maybe Its Ok,” among others. The band has had multiple film and TV sync placements on major networks including MTV, FOX, and CBC. We Are Messengers relentlessly tours, and since its beginning in 2015, is now playing to the largest audiences of its career. The band has toured with TobyMac, Casting Crowns, Phil Wickham, Skillet, Brandon Lake, and Jeremy Camp, among others. The goal has always been to engage culture in conversation about the goodness of God, and to put words and melody to some of the hardest things we feel and experience as humans. We Are Messengers is a band that understands and loves the outsiders, the marginalized, the lost, and the least.
