Stephen Christian ‘Wildfires’

Former Anberlin frontman Stephen Christian shifts gears from the more heavy hitting Christian rock fans may be used to hearing, to worship & praise with his solo project Wildfires.

Opening track, “Trust” reiterates the fact that no matter where we go in life or what gets thrown into our path, we will never be alone. God promises that He won’t abandon us and with that assurance, we can trust that He knows what He’s doing as we continue down the road ahead.

“Light Rise Up” calls for faith to ignite like a wildfire and spread throughout the lives and in the actions of believers as we set out to show the love of God and hope found in Jesus to everyone we meet.

“Undone” is a prayer for God’s will to be the desire of our hearts and our focus to be set upon Him with faith firmly built on the foundation of His promises.

“All I Need To Know” closes the collection with an affirmation of faith as the singer makes the choice to surrender their life fully to God believing in His word.

Wildfires features strong vocal performances set to soaring melodies with a recurring theme of faith & trust as Stephen Christian shares his heart in praise to our Heavenly Father. While the album seems like it could potentially get lost in the sea of worship anthems released in recent years, it’s still worth taking the time to listen to.
