The music of Casting Crowns has reached countless people around the world with iconic songs such as “Praise You In This Storm”, “Nobody”, “Who Am I” and more recently, “Scars In Heaven”.

The new feature film Casting Crowns: Home By Sunday documents how the band came together starting out of their home church in Georgia to the impact that their music has had on individuals who share their stories on screen. Viewers are given a glimpse behind the scenes into the lives of founding member Mark Hall as well as the rest of the group as they looks back on what God has brought them through and celebrate 20 years of making music & touring around the world.

Along with hearing the band’s personal stories, something that stood out is the dedication to their local church and families as they remain faithful to both in the midst of being touring musicians. The film’s title, Home By Sunday, is derived from the fact that no matter where the road takes them, the band is determined to be home on Sunday to worship together with the congregation they have served alongside with since before becoming Casting Crowns.

Throughout the film, we see how God has used music to speak into the darkest moments of people’s lives to shine the light of His goodness, grace & faithfulness providing both listeners and members of the band with comfort & peace through their most difficult trials.

Over the past two decades, Casting Crowns has been and remains a fan favorite as God continues to use their music & the message it carries pointing people to Jesus. Home By Sunday is in theaters November 30th.
