Relent Hitting Road with Guest Vocalist on Disciple’s fall SkeleTour

Nesdam’s Patrick Madsen to Step in as Miggy Sanchez Fulfills Tour Dates for Metal Band Ill Niño

October 2, 2023 – Houston, TX – With rumors swirling around both Nesdam lead vocalist Patrick Madsen and Relent lead vocalist Miggy Sanchez, both parties wanted to make an “official” announcement to dispel those rumors and ‘set the record straight’.  In regard to talk about Relent vocalist Miggy Sanchez not being with the band on the start of the band’s 2023 string of fall tour dates as support on Disciple’s SkeleTour – the rumor is absolutely true.  But, Relent fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as the reason behind Miggy’s absence from the first three shows of the tour – including shows on October 27th in Manheim, PA, October 28th in Waterville, ME and October 29th in Johnson City, NY – are only temporary and simply due to Miggy’s touring obligation with his other band, metal stalwarts, Ill Niño, as they embark on a tour in the western United States.  Stepping up into Miggy’s place for the three tour dates is Patrick Madsen, also known as recording artist Nesdam.

I’m super bummed to be missing the first three days of the tour, but I’m also very grateful to have someone like Patrick (NESDAM) to step in and crush it.” Says Relent’s Miggy. “Not only is he a great talent, but he’s also a great friend of mine and I trust he’ll do a great job.” Madsen, who is the drummer for female rocker (and wife) Zahna, also serves as lead vocalist in his own rock band, Nesdam, is beyond excited to fill in for his friend in his absence. “I was absolutely honored and shocked to receive the call, but Miggy and the band are some of my greatest friends, so it was an easy yes for me” says an excited Madsen.

In addition to the dates of fronting Relent, Nesdam has remained busy having already released four singles including, “Crawl”, “Manipulator”, “One Block Away” and “Bulletproof”, all of which are available now where digital music is sold. Nesdam is also hard at work on putting the finishing touches on his upcoming full-length debut album, which is expected to land sometime in early 2024.  For more information and the latest updates on Nesdam, be sure to follow him on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!
