Ernie Haase & Signature Sound are back with their smooth and lovely Southern Gospel harmonies, only this time they are singing from Amsterdam and celebrating 20 years of God’s continued faithfulness and goodness in their music ministry. Praise the Lord! It sounds like they had a fantastic and appreciative crowd. How neat that we can share a love of music with people from all over the world.
While the songs on this album are ones we may have heard before, they each have creative arrangements that reveal each vocal tone to its fullest. The blend of voices is gloriously joyful and heartfelt. The message is clear. Our joy, our happiness, our healing and wholeness, our strength, our hope, and all we are is due to our faithful and good Lord. He who has saved us, transformed us, sanctified us, and carries us through every challenge is always and forever wonderful.
A few of the songs that touched my heart are below. I hope you will take the time to hear them, too, and to allow the words of encouragement, edification, and care to soothe your heart and soul.
The album starts off with the OVERTURE. An instrumental medley with clips of various songs; it is the perfect way to enter into this time of praise and worship and acknowledgement of the King of kings.
HAPPY PEOPLE is a reminder that “God’s people are happy people. Happy people shine.”
REASON ENOUGH is such a serene and sincere way to glorify the Lord for His Presence and all He has done. There are truly SO many “reasons to believe”.
UNTIL WE FLY AWAY encourages us to focus on the fact that though “there will be tribulation. He’ll never let you go. He’ll carry you… until we fly away.”
I KNOW MY SAVIOR CARES is the perfect song for those moments when we cannot see or understand God’s ways or plans. We will be okay because “By faith I can because my Savior cares.”
