Jesus Culture is a well-known collective of worship artists who have released several albums over the past decade. Based at Jesus Culture Church in Sacramento, CA, names such as Chris Quilala, Bryan & Katie Torwalt, Kim Walker-Smith, Derek Johnson and more each lend their voices to the latest live recording, Love Has A Name. Like past releases from Jesus Culture and similar big church worship ensembles, this album offers anthems of praise expressing thankfulness to the Lord, celebrating His faithfulness and expressing a desire for God to be at work in the lives of believers as we strive to serve Him every day.
“Halls of Heaven”, featuring Chris Quilala, opens the collection as it ushers worshippers into the presence of God and prepares the hearts of listeners for the rest of the album.
“Let Our Faith Become A Mountain”, featuring Kim Walker-Smith, calls for our faith to be the foundation of every aspect of our life as we stand firm on the promises of God in the face of a world filled with chaos.
“Infinite”, featuring Kim Walker-Smith, declares a steadfast trust that God is always with us during whatever happens. No matter where our journey takes us, God’s love remains forever constant.
“Make A Way”, featuring Jon Egan, recognizes the power of God to reach us as a guide through even the darkest situation that we can’t see a way out of on our own.
Love Has A Name captures the live worship experience with its stadium-ready, electric guitar driven tracks as the vocalists lead the congregation in prayerfully meditative and repetitive choruses. There’s no denying the talent of these artists as they perform and the words being sung are done so with reverent passion. As the album title suggests, the overall theme throughout is God’s everlasting, unwavering love for us.
