Mack Brock ‘Greater Things’

Singer/songwriter Mack Brock has served as a worship leader for over 15 years. After wrapping a tour with Rend Collective earlier this year, Mack is ready to release his debut album, Greater Things, featuring 9 songs.

The title track, “Greater Things” opens the album with a song of praise to our Heavenly Father for His faithfulness & the promises He will always keep. The lyrics also declare a bold trust in those promises as we wait upon the Lord to guide us through the battles we face.

“One Like Us”, featuring KB, contemplates the fact that the Creator of the universe chose to take on human form when Jesus came to earth with the sole purpose of showing the world a glimpse of Heaven and to give those around Him as well as all generations to follow the opportunity to choose to believe in His life, death and resurrection so that we can have salvation and everlasting life.

“Heart Wide Open” tells of being completely and totally open to what God has in store for us as we worship and trust in Him. When we allow ourselves to fully commit to prayer and time with Him, God will move in more ways than we can imagine.

“Into Dust” acknowledges the life-giving power of God Who spoke all things into existence and created human beings from the dust of the earth breathing life into each one of us. Take a moment to really think about that – the same God that made the galaxies, stars, planets and everything around us thousands of years ago wanted you to be alive right now. He created you and breathed the very breath of life into you!

What has become a modern worship favorite, “Do It Again”, featuring Rita Springer, reiterates a resounding trust in God believing that He will never fail us. The words remember all the times that He has proven Himself, provided, made a way when there seemed to be no way and shown grace while believing that He always will.

Closing the collection, the reflective “To the End” featuring Amanda Cook, prayerfully meditates on the many ways God has blessed us and shown that He will remain faithful through everything, no matter what.

As a whole, the overall message of Greater Things is God’s faithfulness, His unending love and steadfast promises. Through our belief in Him, we have assurance that our trust and hope is secure even in our hardest times. Mack’s vocals and the melodic arrangements of each track make for a pleasant listening experience while the songs turn our hearts in worship to our Savior.
