Talented vocal group Point of Grace lend their unmistakable harmonies to a collection of timeless songs with their latest release through Lifeway Worship, Beautiful Name – Hymns & Worship Songs.

An acapella Doxology chorus opens the album before launching into a cheerful performance of “All Creatures of Our God and King” which calls on every living being to give praise to their Creator for the gift of life and all He has done.

“He Leadeth Me” tells of trusting in the Lord to lead you as you strive to walk in His ways throughout your life.

Modern worship hymn, “What A Beautiful Name” declares the majesty and hope found in the Name of Jesus.

“The Power of Love” recognizes the life-altering power of God’s love which is strong enough to put even the most shattered hearts and broken world back together again. We can also reflect this love with our own lives as we show kindness, forgiveness and grace to those around us.

The familiar classic “Holy, Holy, Holy” is given a modern touch before closing with a traditional choir performance of the chorus as the music fades.

“Cornerstone” has always been a favorite hymn of mine as it points to Jesus as the foundation for our faith and the One we can fully place our hope and trust in when we face the storms of life.

Heart stirring renditions of “Blessed Assurance” and “In Christ Alone (My Hope Is Found)” provide the perfect close to the project.

It’s hard to believe that though Point Of Grace has been a staple in Christian music for more than two decades this is their first hymns album and the ladies certainly did not disappoint. Beautiful Name – Hymns & Worship Songs offers a fresh take on many well-known hymns that so many of us have heard throughout our lives as well as a few worship tracks that have become popular in recent years. With the message of God’s truth, love and faithfulness firmly intact, this album is a must listen and sure to leave you feeling inspired and your faith renewed as you allow the songs to bring you closer to our Savior.
