Jonathan Cain is widely recognized as the keyboardist and songwriter for legendary rock band Journey. Jonathan brings his signature sound to a collection of Christmas music with the release of Unsung Noel. While there are a few classic Christmas favorites included, the majority of the album features original songs written by Jonathan.

“This Is The Heart Of Christmas” tells of the true meaning of Christmas with the story of Jesus’ birth and the purpose of His life on Earth as He is the Light of hope to the world.

“Star Of Bethlehem” gives a unique perspective on the star that shone bright the night Jesus was born as it led the shepherds and wise men to the place of His birth.

“Joseph’s Pride” takes a look at some of what Joseph may have been experiencing when he discovered the role he would have in raising Jesus as his son.

“The Night Love Came Down” reminds listeners of the reason we celebrate Christmas to begin with and the impact that the birth of Christ had as it changed the course of history for all of mankind.

Throughout Unsung Noel, the message of Christmas rings loud and clear as it focuses on the miracle of Jesus. The original songs capture the spirit of the season and Jonathan’s renditions of “Angels We Have Heard On High”, “Oh Holy Night” & “Do You Hear What I Hear” are given a fresh sound that will delight both longtime & new fans alike.
