Crowder ‘The Exile’

Crowder is back with a brand new album, The Exile, which is the second in a three-part series of albums which began with Milk & Honey in 2021. Filled with a diverse collection of melodies, instruments and styles that come together in way that is unmistakably Crowder, The Exile offers an eclectic crop of encouraging and thought provoking tracks to draw the attention of many.

“Grave Robber” kicks off the album with a celebratory anthem declaring the life-giving power of God. When we make the choice to accept Him into our hearts, He will make us new as we bury our old ways and follow Him.

“- [Dash]” featuring TobyMac, takes a look at how we spend our days on earth and encourages us to make the most of the time we have as we live for God; striving to be a reflection of His love and put it into action however we can.

“Even In EXILE” is a standout on the album with its cinematic-feel musically and lyrics that remind us that even when we are going through the darkest of times in life, we still have the promise of hope and the light of our Creator to guide us through.

Closing track “Truth Be Told” tells of the fallen nature of the world while keeping in mind the redemption that is coming when all will be remade and we’ll spend eternity with our Heavenly Father and Savior.

As a whole, The Exile is a unique album that both long time listeners of Crowder and newer fans will find something that stirs their faith.
