Newsboys have released their highly anticipated project Worldwide Revival Part 1 featuring 8 tracks that celebrate the start of a new era for the band and the first new music with the recent addition of Adam Agee as an official member of the group. Filled with worshipful anthems and lyrics that point to the Anchor of our faith in Christ, each of these songs carry a message of hope for a weary world.
“Heaven On Earth” sets the tone as it calls for a soul-refreshing revival to ignite our faith and a renewed desire to spread the message of Jesus everywhere we go.
“Worldwide Revival” follows and continues this theme upon observing the state of the world; believing for the Holy Spirit to come and spark a needed change in the hearts of many.
A personal favorite, “How Many Times” recounts God’s faithfulness through the wondering, wandering and waiting seasons of life; giving thanks for the grace, sacrifice and boundless love of our Heavenly Father as He draws us closer to Him.
“Color” is a standout seeing beauty in the diverse community within the human race of different colors, cultures, languages and uniqueness of each individual – all created by the same divine God to reflect His love and kindness to one another.
“Christ and Christ Crucified”, featuring Lindy Cofer, tells of the redeeming power of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection that saves all who accept Him into their hearts and choose to live for Him.
“He Lives” closes this collection with Michael Tait and Adam Agee sharing lead vocals on a song that praises the risen Savior Who overcame the grave to give us new life in Him.
Whether your faith is in a state of needing to be rekindled or is burning bright, Worldwide Revival Part 1 is sure to encourage listeners not only to strengthen their own relationship with and trust in God, but also to live a life that shows it and to share the reason for it with everyone we meet. It’s awesome to know more new music is on the way as Part 1 of this special project sets up the next chapter of Newsboys journey.
